Have a mower that starts on starting fluid but will not continue to run?

Nine times out of ten you can fix this with a paperclip or other stiff thin wire.  First remove the carb bowl by removing the bolt at the bottom of it.  Then push the wire or paperclip straight up through the hole that the bolt came out of.  Clean the bowl, put it back on and try it.  This small hole allows fuel to get sucked up from the bowl and into the engine.  You will often find this hole clogged.  I will try to keep these little fixes as simple as possible I see no reason to go on and on about something that takes five minutes to do.......
